Dev Notes:
With the previous knight and this one, I was thinking about fate and faith, respectively. The Fated Knight was my take on your “Hero’s Journey” poster boy. The Zealous Knight is a whole lot darker; he’s a zealot, the kind of puritan that would probably do well for themself during Salem’s Witch Trials. This fellow right here? He’s who you want if you’re looking for someone to retake Constantinople.
I’m not entirely sure about the Relic of the Faith - it might be too powerful an artifact, but I wanted to experiment with the idea I had. Thematically, it’s just delicious.
He would work great with the Salt Knight’s ability, for example.

This is awesome, really great flavor! I personally don't see a problem with the balancing on the relic! The knights overall aren't created equal. Some have very powerful combat abilities but aren't particularly good at anything outside of combat and vice versa. I really like the relic bc it could be used creatively to great effect in and out of combat depending on the situation and the ingenuity of the player, and then again it may do literally nothing if those affected make their saves 😂 it's swingy and that's fun! I think a creative game master could get tricky with it as well, say some starving ruffians or down on their luck villagers fail the save against thirsting for the true faith and the way they react to that is trying to kill the knight, drink his blood, and take the relic 😂
I love that Passion!
